一整天被那春風狂亂吹，晴時多雲偶陣雨，再偶爾撒些即時冰雹，一天四季明明已是春花怒放卻陣陣寒風刺骨....好一個典型的春日
深夜裡接到女兒傳來的訊息...
"我媽告訴我....".要隨時都準備好---在任何時候或任何地方都有可能遇到良機！
她用這樣的方式傳達我給她的影響，讓人窩心得帶著暖暖的感覺入睡...其實應該是睡不著啦！
"My mother always told me to be prepared in case you’re ever at the right place at the right time and an opportunity arises. This sounds like common sense but you don’t see the ways in which you missed out or were unprepared, until you get such an opportunity and realise things wouldn’t have worked out if you weren’t ready. Other than that, I think women are already well-versed in (and inundated with advice about) having to work very hard and very passionately… so perhaps some practical advice — the two things I like to remind myself when I’m ever in doubt are:
1. Don’t ever hold back from pursuing something because others question whether you’re “up to it”, whether you’ll “make it” or how it might look and feel if you don’t get there. (Having said that, don’t simply agree to a project or task simply because you’re worried about the reputational or other repercussions of saying “no”.)
2. If you’re taking down time, do it guilt free (i.e. don’t spent the whole time stressing about what you need to do after your down time). It’s much easier said than done, but maybe mute your notifications or go on airplane mode to truly switch off as best you can.
