在北半球萬聖節、感恩節前後是南瓜的收成季節,而在南半球也是秋季只是月份不同了。
同樣秋季天氣轉涼,所以式開始喝湯的季節,南瓜濃湯特別常見也受歡迎

南瓜濃湯的食譜雅典那媽媽是這樣做
南瓜湯
材料:南瓜、馬鈴薯、/8洋蔥、培根、鮮奶油、巴西里葉
1.將南瓜切小塊水煮煮到軟之後,用單刀攪拌器直接在鍋裡打成泥狀
2.將洋蔥和培根切碎後,炒香後加入南瓜泥湯中再加以調味
3.上桌前加入鮮奶油和巴西里葉切碎即可
Pumpkin Soup
1 Tsp Oil
1 Onion, chopped
750 g Pumpkin,peelded and chopped
1 large potato ,peelded and chopped
4 cups liquid chicken stock
salt,black pepper
ham,bacon....
Heat oil in a saucepan.Add onion and cook until clear.
Add pumpkin, potato and stock. Cover,bring to the boil and cook until vegetables are soft.
Puree vegetable mixture in a blender or push through a sieve. Season with salt,pepper to taste.
For extra flavour, a ham hock or bacon bones can be added when cooking the pumpkin.
